Affiliate Partnership Details

How does the affiliate partnership program work?

What are the steps to becoming an affiliate?

  1. You apply to a our affiliate referral program(link at bottom of page).
  2. You then place a link on your Website (we’ll give you the link) to allow students to access a particular course on our Website such as the IRS-approved AFTR.
  3. Your student clicks on the affiliate link on your Website and is sent to the point of sale for the course.
  4. When your student makes a purchase, the transaction details are recorded and traced back to the link you used as part of the affiliate program
  5. You’re compensated with a 50% royalty share.

What kind of report will I receive with my royalty share?

By the end of the month following the end of each calendar quarter (April, July, October and January), you will receive a statement that looks like the following:

It will contain the following information:

  1. Student name
  2. Course name
  3. Sales revenue
  4. Your royalty share

The statement will be sent to you via email, and your royalty share will be sent by ACH or snail mail (your choice).

What if I change my mind?

You can change your mind at any time. Although we hope you won’t, we understand “second thoughts.” There is no contract, other than our agreement to compensate you at 50% of your students’ purchases.

How do I know you will faithfully fulfill the agreement?

Admittedly, this part of the arrangement requires some trust like many other business agreements. We can tell you that MyCECentral is part of Winn-Publications, a company owned by Paul Winn—a fixture in the continuing education business since 1996. We have built a successful company based on our reputation for honesty and the high level of quality of our courses. But, we understand that concern and it’s why you can change your mind and end your participation in the program any time you choose to do so.

Benefits to your students who complete the AFSP program:

Your students will benefit from taking the Annual Federal Tax Refresher (AFTR) course by gaining:

Those non-credentialed tax return preparers who complete the voluntary Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) have enhanced skills and are recognized by being listed in the IRS’s Directory of Federal Tax Return Preparers with Credentials and Select Qualifications, increasing their visibility and helping them stand out from the other 400,000 or so preparers.
